1. What is an ATS Panel?
An Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) Panel automatically transfers electrical loads between utility power and generator power during a power outage, ensuring uninterrupted power supply to critical facilities.
2. How Does an ATS Panel Work?
An ATS continuously monitors the utility power supply. When a power failure occurs, the ATS sends a start signal to the generator, transfers the load to generator power, and automatically switches back to utility power once normal power is restored.
3. What is the Difference Between ATS and AMF?
ATS (Automatic Transfer Switch) performs the power source transfer between utility and generator.
AMF (Automatic Mains Failure) is a control system that detects power failure, starts the generator, and works together with the ATS to complete the transfer process.
